Stories Connect International
We aim to build transformational and transnational analysis that seeks to identify collective, shared oppressive experience; provide political, economic and social analysis; and using creativity, identify visionary, systemic and social change that honors the humanity of people in all parts of the world. Key to this work is the understanding that our work requires us to be allies of people in other parts of the world who can learn from us, and from whom we can learn. We know that the naming and acknowledgement of the use of racial division is key to understanding systems that impose themselves through economic incursion onto cultures.
Our work has taken us to Cuba, India, Colombia, Guatemala and other places as we seek to understand how people from other cultures resemble us and our struggles in the United States. Visit our collections to learn more about our work.
